Women

Cheshire County squads were represented in two competitions: Northern Counties U21 Tournament, Northern County Championship Tournament in the early part of the season

Under 21 Squad:

Competed in the annual quadrangular tournament for North West Counties and in the full North Counties tournament. 

Senior Squad:

Northern Counties Championship Tournament

The Northern Counties Championship was held in Durham at the beginning of May.  Not too successful a week-end for the squad but they did mange to draw with Lancashire.

Men

The County programme opened on Boxing Day with an emphatic 6-2 win over Lancashire, resulting in Cheshire retaining the annual aggregate trophy (Vets, U21s and Seniors).

The County Championship North preliminary round, with Bowden as hosts, resulted in wins over Shropshire (4-0), Durham (4-0) and Lancashire (7-3), this meant progressing to the finals on Sunday 3rd June at Sheffield H.C. A strong squad led by Captain Stevie Smith is hopeful to improve on last years runners up spot. All are welcome, the first game begins at 12.15pm.

The player of the year will be decided after Sheffield, with the award being presented on Boxing Day 2007.
