REPORT FOR 2008 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

MEN’S CLUBS VETERANS TOURNAMENT 2007-08

The most successful Vets tournament for several years was held at Timperley HC on Sunday 20^th April 2008. Despite cold, wet weather 6 teams competed for the JP Connolly Cup and shields presented by the CHA. The final results were:

            Champions – Brooklands (who beat Chester 3-2 in the final)

            Runners Up – Chester

            Joint third – Winnington Park and Timperley

            Fifth – Bebington

            Sixth – Macclesfield

The presentations were made by CHA Secretary, Chris Robinson. The Association would like to thank those who volunteered to umpire and Timperley HC for their assistance with planning and organisation and their hospitality on the day.
