Season  2008 / 2009

The  Committee  Meetings  {Chair = Mike Flynn}  are  on  the  following  dates at Oxton Hockey Club, starting at 7.30 pm  : 

01.    Thursday, 10^th July

02.    Thursday, 11^th September, 2008

03.    Thursday, 20^th November, 2008

04.    Thursday, 8^th January, 2009

05.    Thursday, 5^th March, 2009

06.    Thursday, 7^th May, 2009  is  the  AGM.

The dates of the WS&YHA Dinners are as follows  :

(a)     Friday, 26^th September, 2008  --  Adults’ Dinner, 7.30 pm at The Manor Restaurant in Greasby.  Your cheque for £20 per person made payable to WS&YHA should be with John Cookson by Thursday, 11^th September, 2009 to guarantee your place.  John Cookson’s address is 18 Frost Drive, Irby, Wirral,  CH61  4XL.    Please bring more cash on the night to pay for your drinks. 

(b)     Friday, 13^th March, 2009  --  Annual Awards Dinner at Oxton Hockey Club for players and parents of the U14, U15 and U17 squads. The cost of the food will be £10 per person and this should amount be paid by Saturday, 1^st of March, 2007 to John Cookson as a cheque made payable to WS&YHA at his home address. Please bring cash to pay for your drinks on the night.   

(c)      FORWARD  PLANNING  for  2009  :  During May 2009 the WS&YHA will celebrate its Silver Jubilee, having been formed in May 1984.  In order to celebrate this important milestone in the history of the Association, the intention is to have a special Celebration Dinner at Prenton Golf Club at 7.00 pm on Friday, 15^th May, 2009.  This venue has been booked already! The hope and intention is to have a minimum of SIXTY people dining at this special celebration.
