Umpires at Youth Games

Above is the Cheshire Umpiring Team who officiated in the Cheshire Youth Games on 24^th June 2006 at Ellesmere Port

The Team includes a number of young umpires who are participants in the Young Umpire Development Programme run by Karen Smith and Mike Hollinshead of the Cheshire Umpiring Association. 

This is a key element of the Cheshire Hockey Development Plan and identifies, develops, promotes and supports young umpires to enable them to contribute as officials to their sport.
