North under 21 Championships - held at Bowdon 29th April 2007

Yesterday I went to Bowdon for the North U21 CC. There were only three teams, namely Cheshire, Lancashire and Yorkshire because sadly Durham, Northumberland and Cumbria declined to enter. In the first match at 10.30 am Lancashire defeated Yorkshire 1-0 in a match which either team could have won. At 1.30 pm Cheshire defeated Yorkshire 6-3 after being 5-0 in the lead. In the last match at 4.30 pm Cheshire needed only a draw to win the event, but lost 4-2 to Lancashire.  Lancashire now go to the national finals at Cannock in May.
